Felipe Barganier
Founder · Chief Executive Officer
Felipe Barganier is a self-made entrepreneur and one of the few
African-American founders of a successful benefits brokerage firm in
the United States. A University of Rochester economics graduate, he
earned his Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses in 1999 — and
in 2003, he opened the doors of GAB International.
Named for his daughter — Gabriel Angelee Barganier — the firm was
founded on a simple conviction: that the people who sell financial
products should look, think, and advise more like the communities
they serve. Two decades later, Felipe is a two-time bestselling
author of Breaking Through the Status Quo, a sought-after
keynote speaker, and a member of the NextGen Benefits Mastermind
alongside the country's leading benefits advisors.
